Protection Support Officer
Location - Horsham and Remote Working
Hourly Rate - £11.02

Background
The Protection Supporting Officer will be responsible for providing an administrative support service to the Protection team. You will be responsible for supporting all staff within the function in relation to administrative procedures and their use of computer data and Fire Safety
systems for example SharePoint and Farynor.
Responsibilities
- To deliver a flexible information and reporting service including collection, collation, analysis and presentation of performance management data.
- To provide clear and concise specialist advice and guidance to managers on the performance management framework and their responsibilities.
- Analyse and interpret performance management data to produce reports and commentary for managers explaining what the information shows and actions that may need to be considered.
- Work with managers to identify, develop, document and implement improvement plans.
- Design and produce standard and non-standard reports monitoring performance against a range of performance indicators (organisational, unit and team).
- Assess reporting requirements and develop appropriate reporting methodology using various sources of data e.g. SAP, PowerBI, case management systems.
- Be responsible for the care of, accuracy, confidentiality, security, integrity of performance management information.
- Research and test appropriate software developments to develop reporting capabilities.
- Taking notes, requiring intense concentration over lengthy periods, analysing and interpreting complicated information which may also be sensitive or confidential, such as note taking at disciplinary or grievance meetings.
- You will also be supporting the running of events such as training events and customer engagement events.
Key Skills
- Sound and accurate IT skills using a range of systems and software packages particularly in the manipulation of data and producing reports.
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills with the ability to present management information in a logical and understandable format.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated by the ability to provide clear and concise specialist advice, training and guidance to a range of clients.
- The ability to prioritise work, co-ordinate a variety of tasks in a clear and logical way to meet expectations and deadlines.
- Be able to use their own initiative to resolve problems.
Qualifications and Experience
- BTEC Higher or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Experience of management of data and production of management reports.
- Experience of using information systems and tools.
- Experience of analysing and interpreting data and producing conclusions and recommendations.
