Background

 

Supported by Team Manager and the broader team, you will identify performance issues,
agree performance improvement plans and use your knowledge of the contracts performance framework to improve the quality of delivery for customers. This will include both onsite and desktop performance checks as part of the monitoring cycle. In addition this will require close working relationships with your colleagues in Adult Services Operations, Health and Social Care Commissioning and Contracts teams and Adults Safeguarding.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver a flexible monitoring and reporting service including collection, collation, analysis and presentation of performance management data.
  • To provide clear and concise specialist advice and guidance to providers on the performance management framework and their responsibilities.
  • Collect, analyse and interpret performance management data to produce reports and commentary explaining what the information shows and actions that may need to be considered.
  • Work with colleagues & stakeholders to identify, develop, document and implement improvement plans.
  • Design and produce standard and non-standard reports monitoring performance against a range of performance indicators.
  • Assess reporting requirements and develop appropriate reporting methodology using various sources of data e.g. SAP, case management systems.
  • Responsible for the care of, accuracy, confidentiality, security, integrity of performance management information.
  • Research and testing of appropriate software developments to develop reporting capabilities.
  • Remain up to date with all relevant legislation, organisational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct in order to uphold standards of best practice.

Key Skills

  • Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of the monitoring and management of information.
  • Knowledge of relevant local government performance management requirements.
  • Knowledge of relevant IT software.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3 GCSEs with A-C passes including Maths and English or equivalent qualification, or experience demonstrating that level of numeracy and literacy.
  • NVQ level 2/3 Care.
  • Experience of collation and management of data and production of management reports.
  • Experience of using information systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience of analysing and interpreting data and producing conclusions and recommendations.
  • Experience of resolving customer care issues.
