Business Support Administrator
Location - Remote Working and County Hall, Nottinghamshire
Hourly Rate - £11.59

Background
To work within the Business Hub to undertake clerical and administrative tasks to support the Pensions team. The work predominantly consists of data inputting; pensions administration including the scanning and indexing of members records; management of group email accounts; maintaining computerised systems; administrative tasks such as emailing and dealing with routine correspondence and answering calls from members of the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Use prescribed employee and financial systems and follow detailed business processes to deliver transactions in accordance with agreed timescales.
- Use a range of computer systems to maintain and input data and information. Systems include Microsoft Office e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, email and internal systems such as SAP, Oleeo, ebulk, Granicus Forms and Civica UPM.
- Undertake general administrative support work.
- Work with colleagues to ensure customer queries are resolved first time. Customer contact should be user friendly, understanding the particular implications of quality and service requirements.
- Work as part of a team to maintain high standards and meet the business needs.
- Undertake employee and financial transactional activities within the Business Services Centre including Transactional Employee Services.
- Input and update basic applicant information in the recruitment, pension and payroll systems, such as a change of personal details.
- Send recruitment documentation to applicants/candidates and recruiting managers as directed.
- Assist in managing and filing relevant casework correspondence to ensure accurate indexing for easy retrieval. Maintain pension scheme information to send to employees. Despatch auto enrolment letters.
- Sort and distribute incoming correspondence (mail, email, and telephone). Ensure documentation is stored appropriately in line with corporate policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education to GCSE level or equivalent to include Maths and English.
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data security.
- Good customer service skills.
- Experience of using a range of computer systems.
- Experience of working as part of a team, with the ability to use own initiative.
